INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the pattern Attach the pattern found in Full Size Pattern Section No. 1 with temporary-bond spray adhesive. Drill small holes in the waste area of the pattern and make all inside cuts first. Once all the inside cuts have been made, move on to the outer edge of the circle. Remove the pattern and sand as needed.

Decorate the wall hanging Referring to the color photo and the Assembly Drawing, decorate your Wolf & Eagle wall hanging. Begin by cutting the leather lacing into 5 pieces 30"-long and 1 piece 36"-long. Use one of the 30"-long pieces for the hanger lace and, using an overhand knot, attach one end of the lace to the cutout.

String the hanger lace with the bead combinations shown in the Assembly Drawing, then attach the other end to the cutout using another overhand knot. Leave both overhand knots loose enough to allow you to thread in the simulated eagle feathers between the wood and the knots.

Use a reversed double half hitch knot as shown in Fig. 1 to attach the

I36:'-long piece of lacing through the bottom center lace hole in the wood cutout. Make sure the two resulting lace segments are of unequal length. Starting at the top of each segment,

string the combinations of beads as shown in the Assembly Drawing, holding them in place with an overhand knot. Working from top to bottom, string three combinations (each with a knot) on the longer segment and two combinations on the shorter segment. Add feathers by pushing the feather shafts under the beads next to the knots. Add one white feather at each knot.

Attach the four remaining 30"-long pieces of leather lacing through the four lace holes left on the wood cutout. Use the reversed double half hitch knot to attach the four laces. Make the two segments of each lace

unequal in length, as was done before. On the longer segment, make two bead combinations and then string one combination on each of the shorter segments. Add one white feather at each knot by sliding the feather shafts under the beads next to the knots, then add one red feather on top of each white feather at the locations marked A, B, C, D, and E on the Assembly Drawing.

The simulated eagle feathers can be added by sliding the feather shafts under the hanger lace knots with the black tips of the feathers hanging down. Place a white feather on top of the shaft of each simulated eagle feather. After all feathers are in place as desired, hang and enjoy! j;j
