SUPPLIES

Wood: cherry or wood of choice—one piece 3/4" x 4-3/4" x 7-3/4" (for the upright), purpleheartor wood of choice—one piece 3/4" x 1-3/4" x 9-1/2" (for the base) Tools; scroll saw with No. 5 blades; drill with bits

(including a 1 -3/8"-Dia. Forstner bit) Temporary-bond spray adhesive 1-7/16"-Dia. clock insert Wood glue

Watco Danish oil or finish of choice Delta Ceramcoat acrylic paint: Black Clear finish of choice

INSTRUCTIONS

Attach patterns to wood using spray adhesive, drill blade entry holes, and make all cuts. Bore the hole for the clock movement with the 1 -3/8"-Dia. Forstner bit as indicated on the pattern. Remove patterns and sand as needed. Paint all edges of the upright Black, then apply finish of choice according to manufacturer's instructions and allow to dry. Attach the upright to the base as shown in the Exploded View Drawing using wood glue, insert clock movement, and enjoy!
