Tn our world, it's quite easy to drive to the mall Or make mail order choices vwth a simple phone call One can fax in an order or even "dot-com" it Any method will do, if one gets pleasure from it.

For in giving, we're forced to think not of ourselves Nor even of Santa Claus, reindeer and elves But instead to consider the needs of another Be it charity, co-worker, best friend or brother.

There are all kinds of gifts we can give those we love Including some kinds we don't often think of There are gifts for the body and gifts for the mind Aiid there're still some more gifts, the most personal kind.

They're the gifts of out talents, our skills or our art Contributed freely and straight from the heart They're the gifts of our time or the gifts of our aid When we give of ourselves with no debt to be paid.

fas, this work! will be better when we all believe That it's better to give than it is to receive Embracing this practice with warmth and good cheer Throughout every season, each day of the year.
