The same procedure is used when cutting Santa's arm (see Fig. 9) and the legs on the deer (see Fig. 10). Next, cut out the two pine trees and drill a 3/8" hole to accommodate the dowel (see Fig. 11). Then cut the 1/8" hacker board and fit it to the sleigh and the Santa (see Fig. 12). The base is cut at a 30° angle and its edges are sanded smooth (see Fig. 13). Glue the trees to the base, the reindeer to the tree (at a slight angle in order to give the appearance that it is lifting Santa off the ground), and the Santa to the base. I used c matte finish; however, if you want more of a shine you can use a gloss finish. Allow to dry and ENJOY! Happy Holidays.
