down to the bare wood. Another approach is used by many cabinetmakers and furniture factories. The parts are stained before assembly, with care being taken not to stain the faying surfaces of the joints. Squeeze-out can then be wiped off and a clear finish can be applied. A minimum of glue stains will appear when this technique is used.

Living herein "Shopsmith, U.S.A." and as a loyal Shopsmith customer for many years, I can't understand how you can overlook listing their catalog as an excellent source of woodworking tools in your "Cabinetmakers' Supplies" column. I recently visited their Dayton store and picked up a copy which I'm enclosing for your review. I know you'll agree that it contains hundreds of useful items, many that are not available through the catalogs you did list.

I'm interested in making the Early American wall cupboard project shown on page 25 of your September/October 1982 issue. However, as I was reading the instructions I believe I found an error. The dimensions on the drawing show the cabinet rail (part E) to be 12 inches long, but the bill of materials shows this same part to be 10 inches.

The Geodesic Lighting Fixture featured in your November/December 1982 issue is truly fascinating but the instructions are confusing since the labels shown in the details on page 30 do not agree with the labels on the photos shown on page 31. Please clarify.
