I have an Atlas wood lathe. The belt broke and I can't get the head stack apart to put on a new belt. It is a cone pulley enclosed in a casting. Maybe some of your readers have had this problem. It is a very old tool; I have had it for 25 years and it was old when I got it. I took it to a machine shop but they were afraid of breaking the casting.

I hope you can help me. I purchased a used Yuba Power Products radial-arm saw last spring, model number 700000, serial 705214. It has a variable speed control which is belt driven. Well, the belt broke and I haven't been able to find a replacement - the manufacturer has gone out of business. It measures 14 in. long, 5/16 in. thick, 11/16 in. wide (outside) and Vs in. wide (inside). Can anyone help?
