From 68 entries of side chairs made mainly of wood, 10 were selected — on the basis of creativity, craftsmanship and functionality — to be part of the exhibition. Among those wood selections were the choices for Donald Moss's "Christmas Tree Chair": the fir, balsam and spruce came from discarded Christmas trees.
