INSTRUCTIONS

This delightful band saw box makes a fantastic place to keep your favorite jewelry. The bottom of the box is cut from one board and the top is cut from the other.

Square and cut the lumber

Size your stock and square the sides. Make sure the two boards are a uniform thickness of 1-3/4", and label which will be the top and which will be the bottom. Rip a 9/16" wide strip off both sides of each board (see Fig. 1), again labeling them for later assembly.

Make the pocket blanks

The two largest components of this project are the upper and lower pocket blanks. Transfer the full size patterns to the edge of the corresponding pocket blank.
