Hang and. enjoy! . -:-. :: : : SUPPLIES Wood: wood of choice—one piece 1/2" x 8-1/2" x 14" (for the backer), one piece 1/2" x 2-1/4" x 14" (for the hat hook piece) Tools: scroll saw with assorted blades; drill with No. 58 bit Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Wood glue Two clamps Clear spray finish of choice Two sawtooth hangers Two hat hooks Wood screws INSTRUCTIONS Attach the backer pattern to the 8-1/2" x 14" piece of stock using spray adhesive and drill blade entry holes in the waste areas. Make all cuts, then remove the pattern. Check that both pieces of stock are 14" wide. Sand as needed. Glue and clamp the pieces together as indicated in the Exploded View Drawing and Full Size Pattern and allow to dry. Attach the sawtooth hangers to the back of the project, then apply a clear spray finish and let dry. Secure the two hooks in place with wood screws.
