" Step 2. Use burnt umb4r for the ha.r Appfymg 1 while flesh undercoat is still wet. This blends the hair color with the flesh color a bit to create a less hard-edged look. Use burnt umber on the eyebrows and lashes as well. Step 3. Paint the irises cerulean blue and the pupils black. The "whites" of the eyes are not pure white. They are a iight flesh mix (titanium white with less burnt umber than before) with titanium white highlights. Also add a titanium white highlight to the upper edge of each pupil.

Step 4. Paint the uniform titanium white. Paint the cap, socks, and uniform trim cadmium red (or the team colors of choice). You can even put the insignia of your favorite team

Step 5. Maybe your baseball player stays clean. This one doesn't. His cap is smudged, he has a patch on his knee, and he obviously has had to "hit the dirt" a couple of times either to field a ball or to slide into a base. (We can't see his elbows, but chances are they are skinned up too.) Step 6. When the paint has dried, give your carving a spray coating of the varnish of choice. That will give the same sheen to all of the different colors and help unify them. Use your imagination on this feller. Give him the details of your choice. Oh, and if your ball player is right handed, simply reverse the pattern.
