INSTRUCTIONS

A word about wood

When you select the wood for your box, pay particular attention to the grain pattern and use it to enhance the overall appearance. You will find that there is a natural front piece, and by cutting the left side first, the grain will wrap around the box in its natural progression, with any mismatch likely to be located on a rear I corner.

After you have selected the box material, locate a contrasting wood for the ; lid panel. Our panel was i sraised with a 1/2" cores • box bit with a 1" length of j cut that was set to cut to \ I a height of 7/8", which will j j leave a field (the raised; 3part of the raised panel)! of 3-3/4" x 6-3/4". If the \ ibox was constructed of | thicker material, a stan-idard panel raising bits f could be used.j
