Wood: oak or wood of choice—one piece 3/4" x 10" x 17-1/2"

Tools: scroll saw with assorted blades (including Nos.

2/0, 2, and 4); drill with bits; palm sander Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Tack cloth Finish of choice

Sawtooth hanger or eye hook with fishing line

INSTRUCTIONS

Attach the pattern to the wood using spray adhesive. Drill blade entry holes and make all cuts. Remove the pattern, sand as needed, and wipe with the tack cloth. Apply finish of choice according to manufacturers instructions. Allow to dry thoroughly. Attach a sawtooth hanger to the back of the owl if you plan to mount your project on the wall or insert an eye hook into the top of the owl and string in a window, ffj
