INSTRUCTIONS Cut the pieces Using a table saw or band saw, miter cut the front and back pieces (A) and the end pieces (B) to the correct length. Check to make sure that mitered ends are square with each other. Attach the patterns to the selected stock with spray adhesive and drill all blade entry holes. When cutting each piece, make the inside cuts first, then saw around the perimeter (see Fig. 1). Stack cut both the front and back pieces and the end pieces, stacking them so that the long face of the miter is up on the top board and down on the bottom board. With the band saw, separate the leg sections from the main box body. Do not separate the lid sections at this time. Make the box and leg assemblies Lay the front, back, and ends in order (long face up) and tape across the miters. Stand taped pieces up and tape the last corner (Fig. 2). Check the inside of the box body to make sure it is square. Turn the pieces over and apply wood glue to the miter joints, then fold as before, once again taping the last corner. Make sure all corners fit together snugly. Place squares in two corners and clamp the squares in place (see Fig. 3). Allow glue to dry for one hour.
