INSTRUCTIONS

Attach the patterns to the wood using spray adhesive, drill blade entry holes, and make all cuts. Remove the patterns and sand as necessary and stain wood as desired. Cover back edges of the flag with wood glue and lay on the plastic sheet. Weight to dry. Glue the stars in place and allow to dry.

Apply a thin layer of Envirotex Lite to thoroughly cover the flag, the pole, and all other wood surfaces. Note: do not pour in the areas between the flag and the pole. Allow to dry for at least 36 hours.

Once completely dry, peel away the plastic and examine for any voids or overly thin areas. Refill as necessary and allow to dry thoroughly. Note: this step is very important as the colors will seep together if not properly separated.

Mix some Envirotex Lite with each of the dyes according to the manufacturer's instructions. Referring to the photo, pour the appropriate colors into the various areas, working from the lightest color (Pearl) to the darkest (Blue). Allow each color to dry completely before moving on to the next.

Once everything is dry, trim away any excess with the craft knife and enjoy,
