Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of each pattern., insert the scroll saw blade into each hole, and saw out the patterns. Make all interior cuts first, then saw around the perimeter of each piece. Thoroughly sand each piece. Assembly Refer to the photograph when assembling the shelf. Edge glue the two back boards together, then glue the brackets and shelves in place on the back boards. Apply clear finish of choice, hang your shelf, and enjoy! iff SUPPUES Wood: mahogany—two pieces 3/16" x 6-5/8" x 16-1/8" (for the back boards); maple—one piece 3/16" x 2-1/2" x 12-7/8" (for the bottom shelf), one piece 3/16" x 2-1/2" x 10-7/8" (for the top shelf), four pieces 3/16" x 1-7/8" x 2-3/4" (for the braces) Tools: scroll saw with assorted blades; drill with bits Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Wood glue Clear finish of choice |
