Creative Woodworks & crafts 2002-04, страница 8SUPPLIES Wood: hardwood of choice (preferably with a tight grain)— one piece 1/2" to 3/4" x 9-3/4" x 11-5/8" (for the silhouette) Tools: scroll saw with Nos. 5, 7, and 12 reverse tooth or crown tooth blades; drill with 1/16"-Dia. bit Temporary-bond spray adhesive (3M #77) Sandpaper, assorted grits Clear oil finish of choice Sawtooth hanger (2" wide) INSTRUCTIONS Transfer the pattern to the selected stock, attaching it with spray adhesive. Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of the pattern. Make all inside cuts using the Nos. 5 and 7 blades, and all outside cuts with the No. 12 blades. Begin with the inside first and then make the outside cuts. This will give a much more stable workpiece. Gently sand the piece. Apply finish of choice. When dry, attach the hanger to the back of the piece. Hang and enjoy!
