1 I INSTRUCTIONS & Copy the patterns and transfer them to the selected stock, attaching them :with spray adhesive. Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of the dragon ' / overlay pattern. Cut both pieces to shape. Make all cuts, beginning with the ft inside and working toward the perimeter. Thoroughly sand the pieces. Glue the dragon overlay in place, centered on M:, the backer. Apply two coats of clear finish to the wood. When dry, attach the m:{ ' hanger to the back of the piece. Hang and enjoy! Jp' SUPPLIES Wood: podauk or wood of choice—one piece 3/4" x 9-3/4" x 12-3/4" {for the dragon overlay); pine or wood of choice—one piece 5/8" x U" x 14" (for the backer) Tools: scroll saw with assorted blades; drill with bits Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Clear oil finish of choice Hanger of choice by Dan Fenelon of Fenelon Design and sawn by John Polhemus of JP Woodworks
