INSTRUCTIONS

Although Baltic birch was my choice of wood for this project, you can select your material from a variety of hardwoods or solid core plywood. Referring to the Bill of Materials, cut the wood pieces to size. Adhere the patterns to the wood pieces with spray adhesive. Bore blade entry holes and saw the interior cuts followed by the outer shapes. Also, drill l/32"-Dia. pilot holes where indicated on the pattern to receive the No. 18 x 5/8" wire brads. Note; if the wood you have chosen is other than 1 /4" thick, adjust the slots in the side pieces to accommodate the thickness of your stock.

Remove patterns and sand as needed. The edges can be rounded by sanding or by using a router with a small roundover bit.

Assembly

Attach the Bottom (C) to the Back (B) with glue and No. 18 x 5/8" wire brads. Attach one Side (A) to this assembly, again with glue and wire brads, followed by the remaining side. Allow glue to dry, then finish as desired!
