CHRISTMAS GIFT TAGS

Full Size Patterns

INSTRUCTIONS

Copy the patterns and transfer them to the selected stock, attaching with spray adhesive. Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of the patterns. Make all cuts, remove the patterns and thoroughly sand each piece. Apply two coats of clear finish to the wood. When dry, attach paper to the back of each piece.

SUPPLIES

Wood: walnut—one piece 1/4" x 4" x 3" (for the hearts and cat), one piece 1 /4" x 4" x 4" (for the flower), one piece 1/4" x3" x3" (for the apple with worm), one piece i/4"x4-l/4" x 3" (for the car) Tools: scroll saw with No. 2

blades; drill with bits Temporary-bond spray

adhesive Carpenters glue Sandpaper, assorted grits Clear oil finish of choice Ribbon of choice Paper of choice
