Creative Woodworks & crafts 2003-11, страница 16designed by John Nelson and sawn by Glenn Filgafe The Symbolism The most widely recognized Christian symbol is the cross. In this design, there is a cross within a cross. The significance of fhe cross and the crown in fhe center of fhe larger cross can be interpreted in two ways. As a symbol for Jesus, the cross signifies his death and fhe crown his resurrection and kingship. For Christian people, fhe cross and crown also symbolize the reward in life after death for those who believe. "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give fhee a crown of life" (Revelation 2:10).
