Or one of our walks to the mailbox, my ycung daughter heard the howls, cries, end throaty endearments coming from the herd cf black cattle across the street. Her eyes became very wide as she scanned the horizon for the source of all Ihe noise, commotion, and...wail a minule...MOVEMENT! And look at those...those THINGS! Jumping up and down in her excitement, she begon to mimic the calls and bowls of frolicking calves arid meandering heifers. We both watched in delight as the herd became silent to watch our approach from the other side of the fence.
