Trace the pattern sections onto fhe wood. Refer to the Wood Placemert Chart when determining which species of wood to use for the various sections of the bear's head. Use 3/4"-fhick oak for the bear's body, back arm., back paw, and wherever oak is indicated fcr the head. Ise l/2"-thick oak for the bear's front arm arid paw.
