Diane Buerge of Garden City, MO, built this "Light of the World" project after reducing the original patterns to 80%. She made two others which she donated to church auctions. The piece shown was commissioned by one of the sccond-placc bidders, Nice job, Diane!

Alice Day of Sjringdale, WA, crafted this intarsia chopper for her son-in-law, Joe Stephens, as a Christmas gift It is made from western red cedar, aromatic ccdar, white pine, and maple. Aficc mounted it on 1/4" plywood covered with material and also made the frame.

AJicc has been doing intarsia for over four years, and lias made over one hundred pieccs to date. Most of her work tuts l>een given as gifts to family and friends, while some have been sold. Greal work, /dice!
