Ahhh...the holiday season. Summer's heat is long gone, and the chill of winler is slowly creeping in. As a child, Christmas was always my favorite holiday. Who doesn't love getting all those presents and seeing those relatives

you haven't seen in a year? Alright, I admit I could have done without the relatives but not the gifts! Some of my favorite memories as a child are of sitting around the tree, recklessly learing open the paper on the next gift that someone had taken such care to beautifully wrap, it wasn't until later on in life that I realized that, as a child. I had missed whul it was all aboul. Christmas isn't just Santa Claus bringing presents, trees with twinkling lights, Bing Crosby playing on the stereo, and eggnog. While all these things have their place ard are important, there is much, much more behind this celebration.

You'll find no sermon in fhis article, but I think in our fast-paced modern lives, we far too often ignore the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is indeed about gifts but not the kind you can purchase in the store or order online. It is about the gift of love—a child born in a manger fo save us all.

If you take a minute to really look at your life, you will find it is filled with gifts ond blessings we may take for granted each and every day. I count my abilities as a designer and scroller high among those gifts I have been given, so I felt it was fitting for me to use my talents to remind people of who gives such gifts to us. And so, "The Reason for the Season" was created.
