Improved Slide Compound Saw

Hitachi is now offering a new model of its C8FB 8'/: in. slide compound saw. This new model, which incorporates several design changes, will be called the C8FB2. One new feature is a retractable blade . guard that automatically adjusts to the w idth of the material being cut. When the saw is not in use, the guard lowers to cover the blade.
