A plastic grain shovel can be used to scoop up big quantities ot planer chips and shavings. Fine dust is removed from shop air by ventilation, using a box fan (clean air entering through an open window or doorway on the opposite wall). And finally, as always, a mask or respirator is worn during heavy hand or power sanding. One of the hoses from the portable dust collector (and/or the shop vacuum) is used for shop cleanup and, finally, a mask or respirator is used during periods of heavy power sanding. Small Hobby/DIY workshop This small (less than 150 sq ft.) space may be used for hobby woodwork, or for do-it-yourself projects around the house.
