With this gun, you'd be all set for tacking glue joints, glass retainers, solid edge banding, moldings of all sorts or just about any application where a fine fastener is the only way to go. I became a pin nailer junkie a few years ago, and since then, I use them on most projects I build. If you haven't tried a pin nailer yet but plan to, keep this lime-green Grex near the top of your list. Then, I'll bet you'll get hooked, too. Or, maybe you're into building cabinets and fastening with dowel joints. Freud's new Doweling Joiner ($329) should make those jobs much easier. The 6.5-amp tool functions similar to a biscuit joiner, but instead of a blade, it plunges a pair of lOmm-shank boring bits from 3/16" to 1/2" in diameter.
