7. Use a sharp chisel to remove the scrap piece from between the parallel cuts.

8. Use a lathe to turn the 2-1/2" diameter ball (Part F) or purchase one. NOTE: Parts B, C, and G, as well as the required wooden dowels should be purchased.

9. Sand all parts thoroughly, removing all sharp edges.

10. Assemble the parts as shown. NOTE: It is best to use non-toxic glue in toys (Parts C and D).

11. No final finish is necessary.
