"I've studied with many different professional carvers; these classes and workshops are definitely worth it," noted Ron Singerman, a professional carver from Vermont, about the trip down for John Burke's seminar.

With swelling class numbers and a 12 to 1 student/teacher ratio, The American Woodcarving School is setting its sights on expansion. Plans for an additional studio are under way to house classes in sculpture and life drawing.
