INSTRUCTIONS

Cut your workpiece to size according to the Bill of Materials. Sand as needed, then attach the patterns using spray adhesive. Drill blade entry holes as needed and begin cutting the design following the solid lines. Once all cuts have been made, remove the pattern and sand as needed. Finish the pieces as desired. If you are using hardwoods, we recommend using a dishpan type container to dip the pieces in a penetrating oil, such as the Watco Danish oils or tung oils. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for drying time and procedures. If using Baltic birch plywoods, we recommend using two or more colors of wood stain. This will create more contrast between the rim and overlays for a more striking effect.

When all pieces are dry, use wood glue or silicone on the tabs of the interior plate design (B) to secure it to the back side of the rim design (A). Next, adhere the overlays (C and D) onto the front side of the rim. If you prefer a glossy finish, spray with one to three coats of a clear lacquer. Attach the sawtooth hanger to the back plate of the panel and it is ready to display.
