Wood: walnut—1/4" x 8" x 14" (for the letters); honey locust—1/4" x 8" x 14" {for the letters); Western red cedar—12" or 3/4" x 8" x 16" (for the ruffles): white cedar—1/2" or 3/4" x 8" x 16" (for the ruffles and eyes); light maple—3/4" x 6" x 14" (for the face); padauk—3/4" x 3" x 9" (for the hair and nose); purple heart—1/2" x 2" x 5" (for the hat), 3/4" x 2" x 14" {for the face); Osage orange—1/2" x 4" x 2" (for the mouth and hat band): African blackwood— 3/4" x 1" x 1" (for the eyes); plywood—1/8" x 20" x 20" (for the backer board)
