INSTRUCTIONS

Attach the pattern to the wood using spray adhesive, drill blade entry holes in the waste area, and make all cuts. Hint: if you are planning to stack cut this project, try placing a piece of wax paper between each piece of wood and one beneath the bottom piece. This helps the blade to cut more smoothly.

Using the 1-3/8"-Dia. Forstner bit, core the hole which will receive the clock insert. Sand as needed and clean up any cuts using the craft knife. Round over the edges of the base using the 1/4"-Dia. roundover bit. Apply medium dark stain of unoice to upright and card holder pieces and allow to dry thoroughly.

Attach the card holders to the upright using wood glue (see the Upright Assembly Drawing). Center the upright assembly on the base and glue it in place. Attach the pen and pencil hardware following the manufacturer's instructions. Insert the clock movement, glue felt to the bottom, and enjoy! Sri
