SUPPLIES

Wood: mahogany or wood of choice—one piece

1/4" x 7" x 13" Tools: scroll saw with No. 5 blades; drill with 1/16"-

Dia. bit; belt sander with 120 grit sanding belt Temporary-bond spray adhesive or rubber cement Watco's Danish oil finish or finish of choice

INSTRUCTIONS

Attach the pattern to the wood using spray adhesive or rubber cement. Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas and cut out the pieces. Remove pattern and sand flat surfaces with the belt sander. Note: the flag is a weak area, so take care when sanding it to avoid damage. If it snaps, super glue will fix it! Finish as desired. |j
