Creative Woodworks & crafts 2001-03, страница 29SUPPLIES \%V NASCAR PLAQUEdesigned by Bobby Redd Wood: birch plywood—one piece 3/4" x 8" x 17" (for the car); Baltic birch plywood—two pieces 1/8" x 1-1/2" x 1-5/8" (for the large numbers), two pieces 1/8" x 1" x 1-1/8" (for the small numbers) Tools: scroll saw with assorted blades; drill with bits Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Stain of choice Clear finish of choice INSTRUCTIONS Attach the car pattern to the 3/4" plywood with spray adhesive. Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of the pattern and saw it to shape. Sand the cutout and stain as desired. Determine which number you wish to adhere to your car and transfer those patterns to the 1/8" plywood (in the case of the car pictured, we chose "88"). Saw the numbers to shape. Sand as necessary and, referring to the photograph, glue the numbers in place. Apply clear finish of choice to the plaque.
