mm Introduction

» The finished project can be hung or used as a center-piece in the size as is. For a good scrolling challenge, reduce the pattern as small as you dare. Be sure to adjust the slot sizes to the thickness of material used. The smaller the pattern becomes, the thinner the wood must be and the narrower the slots. If you plan on spraying the project with white paint, plywood is the most inexpensive choice of material.

INSTRUCTIONS

Adhere the patterns to the stock with temporary-bond spray adhesive, positioning the pieces as close together as possible to conserve space. Note: when the glue on the patterns is tacky to the touch, but not sticking to your fingers, you are ready to transfer the patterns to the wood. Gently rub the entire surface of each pattern to ensure full adhesion to the wood stock.
