Step 12. Using the CA glue, laminate the three Corian® base pieces together. Clamp and allow to dry for 15 minutes.

Step 14. Use the aluminum oxide sanding discs to finish Ihe base.

Step 5. Round over the edges of the fish with a small pneumatic sanaer.

Step 6. After the side fin is cut, resaw it in half and round over the edges.

pieces as per the pattern. Put the small fin aside (until Step 8). Also at this time make the one interior cut for the black insert in the tail and drill the eye opening using the l/2"-Dia. drill bit if you are using the 1/2"-Dia brass rod. Fill in the cut out section in the tail with black InLace, overfilling tne hole. Hint: if you cannol get InLace, Sculpy clay can be used in its place.

Step 4. If you are using the 1 IT brass for the eye, glue it in now using Hot Stuff Super "T" CA glue and sand it flush with the body. Sand the black InLace flush.

Step 9. Place the body of the Yellow Tang on a cookie sheet in an oven preheated to 340 degrees Fahrenneil for 12-15 minutes. At this time you can also heat the side fin. Remove the body of tho fish and use oven mitrs or heavy gloves to bend the tail and the small side fin ol the fish to give it some "life." Please bo careful not to put loo much bond in the tail or it will snap off in your hand. Allow ample time for the fish to cool aown, approximately 30 minutes.

Step 10. Using denaturea alcohol, wioe off the edges of the fish and fins. Using Super "T" CA glue, attach the fins to the body. This glue dries in approximately 30 seconds, thus it gives you some time to place the pieces together. Do NOT glue the small side fin in place at this lime, it will be affixed at a laler time.

base. Transfer the pattern to one of the pieces select-ec for the base. Stack the three base pieces using doube sided tape and cul them to shape. Hint: cul slowly and you will get a satin smooth finish.

Step 15. Turn over your finished base and countersink a hole to accommo date a No. 6 wood screw that will hold the piece of driftwood to your base. Screw the base to the driftwood.

Step 16. Place your Yeliow Tang on the driftwood to get an idea of where you want to mount the fish. After you have decided, drill a l/4"-Dia. hole in the back of the fish, being careful not to drill through the fish.
