through the next hole and so on. making all the interior cuts first. For exterior cuts, you can cut in from the edge or drill a small hole just outside the exterior line.

Remove the patterns from the pieces by peeling them off. For patterns that don't easily peel off, you may want to try using a hair dryer to help remove them. Be careful because some cuts are very fragile. Sand the pieces with a belt sander or hand-held sander. Remove any burrs and clean up any cuts with an X-Acto knife or a needle pick.

Lower Base

Center the Upper Base on the Lower Base and glue in place.

Assembling the clock

Front Overlay

2-3/4"-Pia. clock insert which requires 2-3/&"-Dia. hole

Center the Front Overlay on the Clock Body and glue in place. Using the 2-3/8" Forstner bit, drill c hole for the clock insert, as indicated on the pattern. (Drill through both the Clock Body and Front Overlay pieces.)
