11. On the belly and breast feathers, Carol uses the No. 112 round brush with the same round brush technique as I described earlier. Here, she uses Georgia Clay lightened slightly with a drop of Island Coral. After feathering, she ' lightly washes over the area with Georgia Clay diluted to the

consistency of ink to blend the colors together. She paints the bill Island Coral and paints in the tip with the Black/Georgia Clay mixture. Next, she blends the bill with the tip slightly. Step 12.
