Affix the pattern to the wood using temporary-bond spray adhesive. Drill all blade entry holes and begin by cutting the inside edge of the frame away from the puzzle. Cut puzzle pieces apart. Note: do not cut around the perimeter of the frame at this time. Next, glue the frame to the bottom piece and secure with clamps. Once glue is dry, cut the frame pattern to shape. Remove pattern and sand all pieces as needed, then remove any dust from pieces with the tack cloth. Referring to the photograph, paint the puzzle pieces and frame as desired. To make a more challenging puzzle, paint both sides of each piece. Once the paint is dry, assemble and spray lightly with clear finish of choice to seal. '"" |
