J BILL OF MATERIALS Quantity SUPPLIES Tools: table saw; scroll saw with assorted blades; drill with bits (including a 2-3/8"-Dia. Forstner bit); table saw; planer; belt sander; hand-held sander Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Craft knife or needle pick Clamps Wood glue Oil finish of choice 2-13/16"-Dia. clock insert \ INSTRUCTIONS | Make the pieces Plane wood to proper thick- ■ ness, then cut to the sizes indicated in the Bill of Materials. All straight edged cuts should be made on a ■ table saw for accuracy. Attach the patterns with spray I adhesive and drill blade entry holes in the waste areas of I the patterns. Begin cutting along the interior lines first, I then work outward. The front (A) and back (B) are the same shape and can | be stack cut; saw around the | perimeter and bore the | 2-3/8"-Dia. hole through both pieces, then separate the ; pieces and finish cutting the [; front. Do not cut the interior design on the back piece. f. Assembly Note: it is very important that all pieces be flush and square • with each other when assem-bling.
