INSTRUCTIONS

Attach the patterns to the wood using spray adhesive. Using the No. 2/0 blade, start your cuts on the outside line of each piece, cutting internal detail lines as you come to them, until all the pattern pieces are cut out. Next, cut the spacers and the backboard to size.

Make the captured frame

Cut the wood to size and rout a decorative profile around the perimeter of the piece. Center and fasten the frame pattern with spray adhesive. Using the 1/16"-Dia. bit, bore two holes at the "X's" on the pattern. Cut the interior waste from the plaque using the No. 7 blade. Next, tilt your saw table top 4 degrees to the right and cut clockwise along the outer line of the frame pattern. If you tilt your table top to the left, cut in a counterclockwise direction. When finished, push the interior ring from the back until it locks in place. Apply a little glue to this area from the back side to secure it. Finish as desired.
