INSTRUCTIONS

Make the brass panels

Note: if the brass comes with a protective plastic coating, leave this in place until after the finish has been applied to the rest of the piece. Stack the scrap wood and brass (with the wood on the bottom), securing the layers together with a double wrap of clear packing tape. Affix the insert design patterns to the brass with spray adhesive.

Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of the patterns. Install the No. 7 metal blade and spray with silicon. Saw out the brass insert panels (see Fig. 1).
