Designed by Sheila Polhemus SUPPLIES Wood: mahogany or wood of choice—one piece 1/4" x 7-11/16 x 12-3/16" (for the silhouette) Tools: scroll saw with assorted blades; drill with bits Temporary-bond spray adhesive Sandpaper, assorted grits Clear oil finish of choice INSTRUCTIONS Make a photocopy of the pattern, saving the original for later use, and transfer it to the selected stock with spray adhesive. Bore blade entry holes in the waste areas of tho pattern and make all interior cuts. Sand the silhouette. Apply clear finish of choice to the silhouette. Hang and enjoy1 |j 2002 • 59 |
