A group of American woodworkers will tour Japan from April 17th to May 4th, 1984. The group will show their work in Japan and attend workshops in Japanese furniture design, joinery, lacquer finishing, temple building, and timber home construction. Woodworking shows provide an opportunity to see, first hand, the many tools and supplies that are currently available. Four big shows are coming up in the next few months, so if you live near one and have the opportunity to attend, we think you'll find it well worth the price of admission.

"Woodworking World Toronto" will be held February 3rd, 4th and 5th, 1984 at the Constellation Hotel and Convention Centre just outside the Toronto city limits in Rexdale. Featured will be manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishers and craftsmen. There will also be seminars and demonstrations throughout the show.

"National Working With Wood Show" takes place in San Francisco on April 6th, 7th and 8th, 1984 at The Cow Palace arena. In addition to exhibitions of tools and woodworking supplies by manufacturers and distributors, there will demonstrations and seminars conducted by professionals in the woodworking field.

"The Woodworking Show for Craftsmen and Hobbyists" takes place at the Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, Calif, on April 13th, 14th and 15th, 1984. Featured will be tools and supplies for the serious woodworker—both amateur and professional. Several seminars will also be presented.

"The National Working with Wood Show" at the Nassau Coliseum, Nassau County, New York on May 11th, 12th and 13th, 1984 will be an East Coast version of the San Francisco show. Stop in and see us at booth #261.
