After two heavy winters and a snowfall here already, an interest in crosscountry skis has sprung up among my students. I am looking for a source of hickory slats thai can be laminated into cross-country skis. The hickory needs to be in slats 1/16" thick, about 2Vi" wide, and 84" long.
