Introduction

I believe the marlin is a truly majestic fish. With this pattern, I tried to portray movement and perspective as the marlin jumps and turns. Although the wood colors used in the project may not be true to those found on a live marlin, the color selection helps bring the piece to life. No risers are used when making this piece, but through careful shaping, great depth can be created. I hope you enjoy making this tribute to a fascinating creature!
