Step 17: Join the dial plate to the bezel ring with three screws. Be sure to predrill pilot hole in the bezel ring to avoid splitting the wood. Also add the movements (part F) at this time.

Step 18: Assemble the Vt in. thick glass, bezel ring, dial plate and movement. Just about any glass shop will cut glass to size.

Step 19: Cut a piece of Vi in, plywood to fit snugly in the back. Secure the back to the case with a pair of screws threaded into pre-drilied holes in the cleats. To complete the project, disassemble all components, then finish all wooden parts with several coats of a good penetrating oil, W\j
