Kaufman's Doweling Jig

This well-machined jig has several unique features, and I'd recommend it if you do a lot of doweling work. It's among ihe easiest to use for making accurate holes for edge or end joints. The best feature is an adjustable bushing block thai can be set at any angle up to 45 degrees, enabling you to dowel boards with beveled edges or ends.

The jig comes wiih three sets of removable hardened-steel bushings (three each in 'A. and 3/s in. sizes), which enable you to drill three holes at once, spaced on 7/g in. centers. The bushings have knurled ends so you can quickly remove and replace them by hand. After clamping the stock in the jig. adjust the table height for drilling centered or off-center holes. All adjustments are made with large, easy-to-turn knurled knobs.
